About the Strategic Insight Institute
It is an independent policy research institute that covers transatlantic relations, technology governance, economic statecraft, and security. The institute publishes external contributors and is one of the more approachable venues for early-career researchers.
What we publish
Four recurring research clusters:
- Technology and AI governance: platform rules, semiconductor supply chains, and the institutions that shape emerging technology.
- Transatlantic security: alliance policy, maritime chokepoints, and defense cooperation.
- International economics and sanctions: de-risking versus decoupling, economic statecraft, and enforcement.
- Democratic resilience: information integrity and the defenses of open societies.

What editors look for

- A transatlantic angle, even when the topic is regional.
- Policy recommendations that a practitioner could act on.
